Edward
J. Bailey
Edward J. Bailey, founder of the Law Office of Edward
J. Bailey, completed his undergraduate education from
Abilene Christian University (Abilene, Texas) in 1967
and was honored as the Outstanding Alumnus in Journalism
and Mass Communication from that institution in 1985.
Edward continued his education at Iowa State University
(Ames, Iowa), receiving the Masters degree in Journalism
and Mass Communication in 1972. Moving abroad, Edward
studied at the Universita degli Studi di Firenze (Florence,
Italy) and was conferred the Diploma di Proffitto
in 1976.
Returning
to the United States, Edward enrolled at the University
of Nebraska College of Law (Lincoln, Nebraska), completing
the Juris Doctor degree in 1983. While at the College
of Law, Edward served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska
Law Review and received several awards for his oral
advocacy skills.
Edward
is licensed to practice law in the state and federal
courts of Tennessee, California, and Nebraska. He
regularly appears in Tennessee state courts and in
Immigration Courts across the southeast. Edward is
listed as a Rule 31 Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme
Court and is a member of the American Immigration
Lawyers Association.
In addition to his legal practice, Edward has served as Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of World Christian Broadcasting Corporation; as a faculty member at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Pepperdine University (Malibu, California); President of the National Association of Shortwave Broadcasters; member and chairman of industry advisory/working groups of the Federal Communications Commission; member of U.S. State Department delegations to international communications conferences; member and district legal officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary; and, is serving a four year term as an elected member of the Williamson County, Tennessee Board of Education. Jeremy
S. Jennings
Jeremy S. Jennings, Senior Associate at the Law Office
of Edward J. Bailey, graduated with honors from Seaver
College, Pepperdine University (Malibu, California)
in 1994. While at Pepperdine, Jeremy studied abroad
in Heidelberg, Germany and, upon graduation, was unanimously
selected by the faculty as the Outstanding Graduate
in International Studies.
Jeremy
subsequently enrolled in a joint degree program offered
by the University of Denver (Denver, Colorado) and
in 1998 received both the Masters in International
Studies from the Graduate School of International
Studies and the Juris Doctor degree from the College
of Law.
Jeremy is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee and appears in state court, as well as Immigration Courts across the southeast. Back
